Truck Weighing Solution
Increase container utilization · Boost transport revenue · Reduce logistics costs
Industry Challenges

Inaccurate Weighing
Improper truck positioning, vehicle movement, or uneven loading can affect weighing accuracy and result in unreliable weight data.

Unsafe Truck Movement
Trucks can slip or deviate from the weighing platform during entry and exit, especially in wet or dusty conditions, creating safety and operational risks.

Low Efficiency & High Labor
Manual vehicle identification, weighing, recording, and ticket printing can increase labor costs and create delays during busy weighing operations.

Traditional Truck Weighing vs. ZFITA Truck Weighing Solution
| Traditional Truck Weighbridge | ZFITA Truck Weighing Solution | |
|---|---|---|
| Weighing Accuracy | Accuracy can be affected by improper truck positioning | Side guides help maintain correct positioning for reliable weighing |
| Truck Safety | Standard platforms may provide limited tire grip | Anti-slip patterns improve traction during entry and exit |
| System Reliability | Standard sensors with basic protection | Multiple load cell options for different environments and requirements |
| Operation Efficiency | Manual weighing and ticket handling | Optional unattended system with camera recognition, automatic barriers and ticket printing |
Working Principle
When a truck drives onto the weighbridge, its weight is transferred through the platform to the load cells. The load cells convert the applied load into electrical signals, which are processed by the weighing indicator to calculate the truck’s weight accurately. The system then displays and records the weighing data, with optional camera recognition, automatic barrier control, and ticket printing for fully unattended operation.
